Lessons of Living: Embracing God’s Perfect Timing 🌿✨

"Do not draw lessons from others only, but also from your own experiences, challenges, and victories." N Rakolote (2020)

Life doesn’t always go according to our plans, and sometimes, in those tough moments, we find ourselves growing impatient—especially with God. We want a roadmap, a glimpse of what’s to come. But life has a way of unfolding on its own timeline, and I’ve learned that everything happens at God's appointed time. 🕊️

Embracing God's Timing 🕰️

There have been moments when I’ve tried to predict outcomes, to mold events the way I wanted. But over time, I've come to realize that each event has its own purpose. Often, we don’t understand the meaning of a situation until years later. God knows the bigger picture, even when we can't see it.

Lessons from My Grandmother's Love 💖

I was raised by my grandmother from just four months old. She often told me that God didn’t reveal His plan to her right away, but she trusted Him regardless. At 82 years old, she looked back with gratitude, saying she was thankful she had answered His call to raise me, even without a husband or financial security.

She told me, “God chose me to raise you and help raise your children.” Her obedience and love were gifts that shaped not only my life but also the lives of future generations. Her selfless care will live on, a legacy that will bless many. 🌷

A Moment of Reflection ☕

One cold, rainy day, my grandmother, my daughter, and I were cozied up together, drinking coffee. She looked around, taking in the warmth and love surrounding her, and said, “UThixo akabuzwa mibuzo” (God’s ways are beyond questioning). She felt blessed, knowing she was safe, loved, and at peace, while others faced hardships she could only pray for. Her gratitude was a reminder of God’s faithful provision. 🌧️🙏

Patience in the Process 🌱

My dear friends, not every hardship is a punishment or a setback. Sometimes, it’s just a season of pruning, preparing us for what’s to come. If you're in a tough spot, don’t despair. Know that at God’s appointed time, you’ll see breakthroughs or gain understanding about situations that once confused you.

For now, let go of the anxiety and lean into faith. Life won’t always go as expected, but we can trust in God’s timing to guide us through.

Until I write again, stay blessed. 🌸
